Cleaning:

• Use a soft, lint-free cloth and a water-based spray cleaner
• Gently wipe the surface to remove any spills or residue
• Avoid immersing the slate in water

Deep cleaning:

• Apply a light coat of teak oil with a soft cloth

Sealing:

• Apply a sealant to the coaster/slate for added protection 

Popular options include polyurethane, varnish, shellac, acrylic spray, and mod podge 

Other tips:

• Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh detergents, as they can scratch or damage the slate
• Avoid hitting the slate with heavy objects
• Avoid leaving hot or greasy pans sitting on the surface
• Wipe up spillages immediately, especially acidic juices

Warnings:
Not suitable for children under 3 years - small parts may present a choking hazard. Magnets can interfere with electronic equipment and medical devices. Handle with care to avoid sharp edges on laminated products. Vinyl and plastic components are flammable – keep away from open flames and extreme heat. Disposal Instructions:
Dispose of all products responsibly in accordance with local waste and recycling regulations. Vinyl stickers, laminates, and plastic bookmarks are not biodegradable and should be recycled where facilities exist. Do
not incinerate vinyl or plastic materials, as they may release toxic fumes. Magnets must be separated from other materials and disposed of safely.
